Edgebrook Park Improvements Completed

23 Aug

If you haven’t been there in a while, you may not have noticed that the city’s parks department has made some improvements to South Oak Hill’s Edgebrook Park. They fixed the curb around the play area, added new wood chip and are reseeding the area under the twin oaks.

Let’s all help keep the park looking good!

Here’s an “after” picture:

And here are the “before” pictures (just so you can see the improvements that were made):

Great times at the Fourth Annual Neighborhood BBQ

22 Aug

As the pictures below show, we had a great turn out for (and a lot of fun at) the 4th Annual South Oak Hill BBQ and Potluck.

The raffle also raised $75 for STEP.

Special thanks to Megan Cox, Carson and Joanna Dallum, and Chris and Tracy Anderson for all their help this year. (And Michael and Andrea Grage for starting this tradition).

Soon cooler temps will usher in the change of season and we’ll have cider, pumpkins and little trick ‘r treaters to celebrate, until then best to you and yours with back to school and the final days of summer!
